To Just Horse'n Around Ranch!

Karen and Bill Bean call Hockley, Texas and Shelbyville, Tennessee home now. Having been introduced to Tennessee Walking Horses only a few years ago, they have already developed a meaningful and lasting commitment to the horse, the industry, and the people they have met along the way. Say Karen and Bill, "In that short time, we have made so many friends whose company we enjoy…people who share our interests...wonderful people who are really good friends. It's just been great".

Karen is active showing their horses at several Show Events and the Celebration. She has shown They Call Me Samson, a stallion who won the two-year-old World Championship the very first year the Beans had an entry at the Celebration. In 2010 'Samson' was ridden to the Trainers Auxiliary class blue ribbon at the Celebration.

There is also He's Slim Shady, a stallion purchased at the 2009 Celebration after he won the amateur three-year-old World Championship.

Many horse show classes or divisions are sponsored by Just Horse’n Around Ranch, and recently, Just Horse’n Around Ranch sponsored the Riders' Cup Aged Mares & Geldings Division.

The Beans like to help the industry as much as they can, especially the local shows, as they really feel a part of the local community that has welcomed them so warmly.

Bill & Karen are also in the process of developing an equine rehabilitation facility at the Hockley, Texas location that will feature such services as underwater equine treadmills and other rehabilitative processes. Check back as construction progresses. They are looking forward to offering this service to you and your horses in the near future!
